Trac
Trac is an enhanced collaboration and issue tracking system for software development projects. Trac uses a minimalistic approach to web-based software project management. Trac should impose as little as possible on a team’s established development process and policies.
It provides an interface to Subversion, an integrated documentationWiki and convenient reporting facilities.
A timeline shows all current and past project events in order, providing a clear overview of the project and tracking progress. The roadmap shows the road ahead, listing the upcoming milestones.
Subversion
Subversion (SVN) is a source code version-control system. Developers use Subversion to maintain current and historical versions of files such as source code, web pages, and documentation.
The open source community has used Subversion widely: for example in projects such as Apache Software Foundation, Free Pascal, FreeBSD, GCC, Django, Ruby, Mono, SourceForge, ExtJS, Tigris.org, PHP and MediaWiki.
The corporate world has also started to adopt Subversion. A 2007 report by Forrester Research recognized Subversion as the sole leader in the Standalone Software Configuration Management (SCM) category and as a strong performer in the Software Configuration and Change Management (SCCM) category.
Assembla
Assembla is a collaborative project management service for open-source and commercial software. Assembla provides workspaces featuring project management software elements such as task management, issue tracking, subversion repositories and scrum meetings.
